Main activities

With a view to implementing the Observatory's policy and aims, the following activities will be carried out, supported by an adequate web platform and with the backing of the structure of people and networks in the Social Action NGO Platform and the possible contribution of agreements and alliances set up with other organisations and related to its mission.

  1. Collecting available information related to Quality applicable in the Third Sector.
  2. Identifying which institutions have Quality management systems and their characteristics.
  3. Generating a database on what organisations do as regards Quality.
  4. Carrying out studies to find out about the sector's status in terms of Quality.
  5. Carrying out assessments of the level of maturity in Quality management attained by each NGO and by the sector as a whole.
  6. Drafting regular reports on the status of Quality in the sector.
  7. Selecting the best practices in the sector and making them available to the NGOs that belong to the Observatory.
  8. Setting up exchange fora with NGOs, promoting dialogue on issues of Quality between the Observatory and the organisations.
  9. Promoting the dissemination of relevant news items on issues related to Quality in the sector.
